Besorat Investments commits 10% of net profits to support community, national and international ministries. We believe that it is the responsibility of business to get involved in the community to help solve important community based issues.
We seek to bring together many different segments of the community to work together. We live in a very broken, divisive country but we believe that there are many things that we can work together on regardless of our political views. We will focus on what we agree on and not what we don’t agree on.
- Hopegivers International, Inc. - Through the Hopegivers International Hope2Work program, we work hand-in-hand with Ventura County Foster Care, Women of Substance Men of Honor (WOSMOH) and several local non-profits to develop and implement programs to aid the transition of youth aging out of the foster care system at 18 years old. This is a structured mentoring and intern program that includes housing and jobs to help these youth break the cycle of their past and become healthy, productive young adults.
- HiHopes Farm - a one-acre garden farm parcel in Moorpark that is dedicated to serving foster youth, at risk youth, inner city youth and handicapped youth.
